Until I Kill You brings to the screen the true story of Delia Balmer, a British nurse who in the 1990s met John Sweeney - a man who would later be revealed as a ruthless serial killer. Initially charming and charismatic, Sweeney soon reveals his dark and violent nature. By the time Delia realises the truth, she is already trapped - controlled by a man who will do anything to keep his bloody secrets hidden.

Despite brutal attacks and death threats, Balmer refuses to give up. She fights back, seeks justice and fights to reclaim her life. The series chronicles her terrifying battle against her tormentor, while exposing the shocking failures of the justice system that should have protected her.
