"Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies"

Ten years after being acquitted of the charge of murdering her daughter, Casey Anthony – dubbed "America's most hated mother" – is ready to tell her story. Her acquittal outraged many people, and now we have the chance to hear the details of this controversial case firsthand. In 2008, two-year-old Caylee Anthony went missing, but her mother Casey did not report the disappearance for an entire month. When the case came to light, it caused a huge stir and became one of the most closely watched trials in U.S. history. Casey Anthony was arrested and charged with murdering her daughter, but in 2011, the jury acquitted her of the murder charge, sparking a wave of public outrage.

Today, ten years after this event, Casey Anthony breaks her silence and for the first time shares her version of events. Through a thorough examination of her story, interviews with those deeply involved in the case – including the police officers who initially accused Casey – and Casey's own account, we will have the opportunity to see the premature death of Caylee Anthony in a whole new light.

Caylee Marie Anthony was born on August 9, 2005. She went missing in June 2008, and her remains were found in December 2008 in woods near her grandparents' home. Casey Anthony did not report her daughter's disappearance for 31 days. Ultimately, it was her mother, Cindy Anthony, who reported Caylee missing after multiple attempts to find out where she was. During the investigation, it was revealed that Casey lied about her place of work, claiming to be employed at Universal Studios. When police took her to the site, Casey admitted she had never worked there. She also claimed that Caylee had been kidnapped by a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, but investigators never found anyone by that name connected to the Anthony family. During the trial, the defense argued that Caylee drowned in the family pool and that Casey and her father, George Anthony, tried to cover up the death. George Anthony denied these allegations.

Casey Marie Anthony was born on March 19, 1986, in Warren, Ohio. She grew up in Orlando, Florida. Her personal life was full of problems and controversies, including complicated family relationships and financial troubles. Casey Anthony's trial began in 2011. She was charged with first-degree murder, but in July 2011, she was acquitted of the murder charge, causing immense controversy and public outrage. She was found guilty of four counts of providing false information to law enforcement and sentenced to prison time, which she had already served while awaiting trial. During the trial, Casey was often portrayed in the media as irresponsible and unreliable, contributing to the negative public perception of her. After the trial, she sought to avoid the media and live in seclusion, engaging in various projects related to privacy protection. Will the truth come out?

What new facts will Casey Anthony reveal? Will her version of events convince the public? What were the real motives and circumstances surrounding little Caylee's death? These questions remain unanswered, but the three-part series "Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies" might shed new light on this dark and controversial case. Is it worth giving her a chance to be heard?

The series premieres on Monday, June 10 at 9:00 PM on Viasat True Crime. Subsequent episodes air on Tuesday and Wednesday, also at 9:00 PM.
