Some crimes are so far outside the boundaries of what most of us can comprehend, that they tend to get pushed to the edges of public conversation. The cases gathered here share a particular kind of horror: not just what was done, but who did it, and how long they were able to keep doing it. An architect living a double life of violent obsession. A cannibal who found his victim willingly online. A hospital worker whose crimes behind closed doors went undiscovered for thirty-three years. A husband who spent a decade drugging his wife. These are also stories about survivors, investigators, and the families who waited years - sometimes decades - for answers and accountability. These crimes are real, they happened to real people, and silence doesn't serve the victims. This is why we bring them into the light.
