Saturday morning, coffee and… murder? This November, weekends on Viasat True Crime begin with a serious dose of adrenaline. The new Killer Weekends strand takes viewers into a world of passion, jealousy, betrayal and obsession, where the line between love and murder has been crossed. And when feelings are no longer enough, money, lies and digital traces left online enter the picture too.
When love turns dark, two people can push each other to do things they might never have dared to do alone.
Snapped: Killer Couples explores relationships in which two people bring out the worst in each other. Manipulation, jealousy and obsession lead to contract killings, disappearances and brutal attacks. These are stories of “psychopathic love”, leaving behind victims and one disturbing question: who led whom into murder?
A similar line is crossed in Killer Affair, where infidelity becomes the spark. Forbidden relationships, double lives, lies and desperation create a dangerous mix that can end in murder. Sometimes, forbidden desire really does become a deadly passion.
In In Ice Cold Blood, actor and rapper Ice-T, known among other things for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, guides viewers through real-life crimes involving sex, greed and murder. Each episode begins with a mystery, and behind it lie affairs, money, divorce and carefully hidden secrets.
There is never a shortage of suspects. A private investigator is murdered, leading police to a wealthy woman involved with both a father and his son. A young military wife disappears from a naval base, leaving behind a secret affair and a hidden pregnancy. A Wall Street millionaire is killed during a bitter divorce. Everything that once seemed private suddenly becomes part of the investigation.

Today, secrets are increasingly hidden not in a drawer, but on a phone. Hashtag Homicide examines cases where the first clue may be a like, a post, a comment or a new follower. One click. One like. One follow. When we open up our lives online, we never really know who might walk in.
The killers featured in Kill/Switch go even further. In this November premiere, murderers take over their victims’ accounts and impersonate them after death, convincing friends and relatives that they are still alive. Stolen passwords, fake messages and social media activity can delay the truth for weeks, months or even years.

Kill/Switch premieres on Monday 16 November at 21:00 CET. The series then continues as part of the weekend schedule, airing on Saturdays from 11:15 CET and on Sundays from 21:00 CET.
Killer Weekends begins on 1 November and airs every Saturday and Sunday from 06:00 CET on Viasat True Crime.
